Make your own Advent Calendar
with this easy script

Imagine the Advent Calendar below is filled in with links to meaningful, inspirational pages on your website for your visitors to use every day! It's a great way to bring people back to your site, day after day. And it's a wonderful opportunity to introduce visitors to webpages they might not otherwise get around to seeing.

If you don't have enough material on your own site to fill in every day of Advent and the Christmas Season on the calendar, you could provide links to the other Christmassy sites. But if your site is large enough, use the calendar to link to pages that will help visitors experience a new birth of Jesus Christ in their lives and homes.

This calendar gets automatically corrected to display the right dates every year, so you only need to make this once and then use it again and again, year after year. It uses JavaScript; instructions for what to edit in the script are embedded in the source code. You can change the background image to one of your own in the normal html code of the <body> tag.

Download these files -- save them to your computer by right-clicking on the link:
calendar.htm
christmaslites-ani.gif
christmastree-bak.jpg (optional - this is the page's background image)

The calendar displayed below will only show the current month.
For the same script with the addition of all months displayable, see this sample.
